Stay up to date with ING Group’s latest news via RSS

RSS – really simple syndication – offers you an easy way to keep up to date with the latest news on ING Group’s website. As soon as we publish new press releases or features on www.ING.cz, you receive the headlines.

What is RSS?

RSS – really simple syndication – offers you an easy way to keep up to date with the latest news. All you have to do is subscribe to RSS feeds from your favourite websites. The feed allows you to see when websites have added new content.

The new headlines are sent to you as soon as new entries or stories appear. By clicking on these you are linked through to the source – the original website.

ING Group offers an RSS feed for press releases and features that appear on www.ing.cz.

How do I use RSS?

To receive and read RSS feeds you need an ‘RSS reader’ (also called ‘newsreader’, ‘feed reader’ or ‘aggregator’). This is a piece of software that checks the RSS feeds and gives you a clickable list of headlines of new content that has been added to your favourite websites.

With the RSS reader you can subscribe to RSS feeds from your favourite sites, such as www.ING.cz. You then receive the headlines of any new press release or feature the moment it is published, much like the subject lines of incoming emails.

How do I get an RSS reader?

There are a range of different RSS readers available. Some are accessed using a browser and others are downloadable applications. Different RSS readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer. Most can be found on the internet.

How do I subscribe to ING.com’s RSS feed?

Go to www.ING.com’s homepage. In the Press Release and Features section you will find an RSS button ( http://www.ing.cz/cz-en/rss.xml). Click on it and a web page with an XML code will appear. Drag, copy or cut and paste this page’s URL , www.ing.XXXXXX.xml, into a new feed in your RSS reader.
